As I mentioned briefly in my intro post, I am chronically 'online.' But rather than scolding myself about how bad it is for my health, I figured it would be better to share my internet digest each week. I’m basically dragging everyone down with me. My brain is broken but my algorithm is perfect. This is the cross I must bear. I hope that in doing this, you can get a glimpse into “The Yooniverse,” whether you like it or not.
So without further ado … Here is the first edition of my Internet Diary (i meant to post this last Friday but i was traveling):
#1: Gingers Are Black
I first came across this revelation when I saw this post:

In the clip that currently has 5 MILLION LIKES, the OP is stating that all Gingers are Black people. Now it’s not my place to speak on whether or not I think this statement is true. But what I can share is how I’ve enjoyed the subsequent videos that have come from this viral moment. And while most of these videos are extremely funny, I genuinely appreciate the fact that this trend is fostering a conversation about identity and finding community. It’s more about sharing a sense of solidarity between two communities who have felt “othered.” This blurb more than anything else is for me to share some funny videos but I have really admired moments on the internet like this that give us something more.
Video 1: A Ginger dad wishes his daughters a great day at school.
Video 2: Two guys realizing they’re now brothers
Video 3: A very funny and important POV of this situation
#2: The Rizzler is Fashion
If you don’t know who The Rizzler is by now, we’re unfortunately on completely different ends of the spectrum when it comes to being ‘online.’ But he is a little boy, who garnered fame through ‘The Costco Guys’—look I can’t sit here all day explaining this universe, it’s more insane to me that you don’t know who they are vs the insanity of me explaining who a 10yr old boy is. They were literally on The Tonight Show!!!
Anyways … The Rizzler is a full fledged fashion star now. He was recently featured as a model for Yuri Sport and Supreme:
I love The Rizzler. He’s a king. He needs to be protected at all costs. These photos get 5 BIG BOOMS for me…
#3: The Cult of AMC A-List
I am a proud member of AMC A-List. I love movies and I love watching them in a theater. But movies are expensive which is why AMC A-List is the best thing ever for a cinephile like myself. You can watch up to 4 movies a week! Look I don’t know if you’ve seen the price of a ticket for an IMAX movie but the cost of one IMAX movie is more expensive than what I pay a month for A-List. I am an evangelist about this and a few days ago I realized I’m not alone in this religion.
I’m proud to be in this cult. I will never stop talking about AMC A-List. And as long as Nicole Kidman continues to be our leader, I will continue to be a loyal follower.
#4: Travel People Be Like

I saw this video pop up on my timeline and I couldn’t stop laughing for almost 20 minutes. People who love to travel and talk about points or travel hacks kind of overwhelm me. I’m sure I do the same to people with my love of AMC A-List but it’s not hard to watch a movie in a theater. Traveling is not easy and everyone has their own personal way to travel. I realized pretty quickly on in my relationship with my wife, that we like to travel in very different ways. She shows up early and relaxes. I show up right as we’re about to board like I’m Ethan Hunt in Mission Impossible. But we’ve found a way that works for both of us and traveling should be whatever you’re most comfortable with. If you want to use your PooPoo points to book travel, that’s fine with me. But don’t tell me how to use my PooPoo points!
Also I came across this trend where people travel in a fishing vest to carry less luggage with them on a flight. Please don’t do this. Just be normal!
#5: Andre 3000 Commencement Speech
The legendary rapper/artist/icon Andre 3000 recently gave a speech to the 2025 graduating class at the Berklee College of Music. I’ll let the video speak for itself but Andre 3000 continues to inspire and speak profoundly about music and life.
#6: Conner O’Malley is a Genius
I’ve been a longtime fan of Conner O’Malley’s comedy. It’s not for everyone which is OK. But it is 1000% for me. I’ve seen him live in person at a few stand up shows around Los Angeles and I’ve obviously watched most of the videos he’s posted. Recently though, he’s entered into this phase where he’s making legitimately good short films. Rap World and Coreys are both amazing and worth your time if you haven’t watched already. But his most recent video titled ‘Slugs’ feels like if Michael Mann made a weird rom-com … It’s weird, it’s funny, it’s random, and it looks and sounds amazing. PLUS he shot multiple scenes at my favorite mall … The Glendale Galleria.
